Amish Quilt

I became inspired to design this quilt after seeing one similar to it at a quilt show in Germany some twenty years ago.

The quilt was unremarkable - except that the blocks were each about 6 inches square (this was before miniature quilts became popular) - AND - it was the first time I had seen one quilted with matching thread for each block.
